Real World vs. Real World

I was lucky yesterday, I got to go to the opening of the World Press Photo 11 at the Willy Brandt Haus in Kreuzberg. As my friend Rian and I were looking at some very intense photography of the Haiti earthquake aftermath (shot by Olivier Laban-Mattei) she broke it down to what it is: "In our world we see the cruelty of the other world while sipping on champagne."
